"A lovely gite in a superb location in a rural area on the edge of the Rif mountains. Fabulous views and birdsong. We had some great trips and short hikes in the mountains, which deserve to be better known. Ferdous, Fatima's sister, looked after us very well, and produced delicious breakfasts and an excellent evening meal. However, to save money, we ate dinners out as it was cheaper. The map on Vrbo shows the location in the medina of Chefchaouen, whereas it is actually a half hour drive...

"We loved the place and the friendly staff, they made us feel at home, can’t wait to come back again. The food was delicious, the rooms cozy and comfy, all questions were answered in a friendly and advisable manner. Honestly speaking this stay was the jewel of our first trip to Morocco. "El Dar nos encantó, un lugar muy acogedor, limpio y agradable. Nos recibió Yassir, nos ayudó a llevar las maletas y fue siempre super amable, muy atento y al pendiente de que todo estuviera bien y no nos hiciera falta nada. Nos recomendó un restaurante para cenar la primera noche, nos ayudó a hacer la reservación y se aseguró de que sí nos recibieran. Muchas gracias Yassir y a todo el personal por hacer nuestra estancia muy agradable en Chefchaouen. "

"Location, location, location! But wait, thats not all! The staff at the Riad could not have been better. The check in was good, breakfast was fantastic, with lovely views from the terrace, and checkout was a breeze. And better still, the price! Thank you Riad Zaitouna for a memorable stay. "
