Great for families
We enjoyed our stay very much at this thoroughly and beautifully renovated house. The pool, table tennis, table football set, and pool table were favorites for our kids. The air conditioning was very welcome as our stay was during one of the hottest weeks on French record. The tax was already included in our stay so we didn’t need to pay it additionally. The short drive times to Avignon, Marseille, St Remy de Provence make the location very comvenient

Week in Saint Remy
Plenty of room for 2 families of 4. We didn’t even use the pool house bedroom. We used the barbecue one night for a steak dinner - the only night we ate in. It was a great night for a dinner on the outdoor table. The only difficulty we had was the meeting place upon arrival. I was actually able to identify the property on google maps as Oustalet Sarrasett and drove directly there but we were instructed to meet at La Galine. We didn’t realize that La Galine was actually Bistrot de la Galine on Google Maps, a very nice restaurant which we went to twice for dinner. I would suggest changing the instructions to meet at the property itself. I would also suggest mentioning the number of the property on the road as 13-089, I think it was, anyway the last property with a 13 prefix. Then it drops to 12. This will help find the correct turn. When you get to the property however the gate is closed so you would need to wait beside the gate. Anyway, the house was great and pool very nice. We couldn’t figure out how to turn the pool lights on after we turned them off the first night, not in the pool but around the pool. We enjoyed the pool table and would recommend walking to bistro de la Galine via the canal road behind the property (if you walk) rather than on the main road as there is no shoulder and lots of cars. Very comfortable beds and great A/C. Would happily recommend this property.

St. Remy Farmhouse
The property is very nice overall. It is close enough to St. Remy (which is a wonderful village) but still provides privacy and wonderful views. My only suggestion is to improve the comfort level of the furniture. The home is very functional but not overly comfortable. The bedrooms are of good size and the beds are generally quite good. Wi-fi is spotty at best so don't expect great streaming abilities. I might suggest a few more 'staples' available when you first arrive as after a long journey to the farmhouse you are usually exhausted. The pool was great. The furniture/shade etc could be a bit better though. Poolhouse was beneficial if you have quests. We stayed for one month so that is another reason my review is a bit different. I would recommend L'Oustalet de Sarrasset with a few finishing touches.

Well equipped and space for families, peaceful and good for walking, sightseeing and vineyards
Finding the property was problematic but is actually very conveniently located for St Rémy. We needed a few phone calls to find the exact point on the D99 where we should turn.Once there there we found the kitchen extremely well equipped for any cooking, baking etc. In fact it is very well equipped to host many guests. The pool and jacuzzi area has a locked gate and a delightful garden room which is a large self contained bed-sit. The whole place has been recently refurbished to show of the original attractive rustic stonework. We were three older couples keen on good food and trips around the Chateau Neuf vineyards. We found a lovely daily morning walk past some friendly neighbours and up behind the house up to Les Alpilles which are the delightful local hills which you can see from the house. You can walk to to gliding school with direct access to one of the Grande Randonne. One day we walked along the canal to the market in St Rémy. which took about 40 minutes. The market is excellent with lots of local cuisine. We had the habit of taking a walk before breakfast then visiting vineyards then a good lunch followed by home to enjoy the pool and enjoying a local cheeses and paté followed by a bottle or two of wine . All in all a very relaxing holiday which we are keen to do again some time. Thanks you to Emilie and Benoit for letting us stay in your converted family home.

Fantastic property and a wonderful holiday
We had a thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing week. There were 10 of us and the property allowed everyone space if needed but the opportunity for us to be together to eat and relax. It is perfectly placed to access the local town and other activities. The owners popped in and were very friendly. Can totally recommend the property.

Très bonne localisation pour séjour en Provence
Belle maison bien entretenue et localisée. L’accueil est facile, sympathique et parfait. La maison est bien fournie, notamment par la qualité du matériel et la diversité des équipements (baby foot, billard…). Très sympas pour venir en famille ou avec des amis!
