"We were thrilled to have room 119 which had a balcony and we could view the cruise ships departing. It was warm and clean. The complimentary water and coffee pods were really appreciated. Service at breakfast and at reception was warm, friendly and efficient. It was a surprise that breakfast and parking were included. Had a lovely reunion evening with tasty food, especially the beef. "Loved the rooms. Bright, airy, clean, well equipped and spacious. Could do with a few more USB points. The area is lovely and has plenty of parking. Unfortunately the ongoing building site (hospital) is a bit unsightly. Not the properties fault. Staff are fantastic, helpful, empathetic and go the extra mile. Massive thumbs up for staff. We only had breakfast on this occasion. Only negative to breakfast is that it is not made clear that if you can’t find something, you need only ask staff and they will help. Overall the hotel is lovely. Could do with a few water fountains for refilling water bottles."
