"We loved our stay here, the property seems to have been refurbished to a better standard than the pictures portray. The location on the water is stunning and we fitted 7 people comfortably. The host was very communicative and it was great to have the parking available too. Thanks for a brilliant stay. Warning there is no hot tub, I was told by the host this is a mis-naming on Vrbo."

"A really lovely, cosy house in a beautiful location. Only minor issues - no instructions for things, no information about recycling and only a tiny cafetiere (we really like proper coffee). But everything else was perfect for our stay. Would definitely recommend this place!"

"The most beautiful secluded spot on a very small estate, overlooking fields and the sea. The accommodation is well thought through with everything you need (nice bed, normal toilet and shower (a tight squeeze!) kitchen (2 x gas hobs and basics included). There’s a lovely little log burner in the corner with logs there but in September we didn’t need it. There’s a picnic bench outside and further seating around the fire pit which also doubles as a bbq with a spectacular view. The sky at night is incredible as there’s no light pollution. As you’re in a field in the middle of nowhere, the cabin is solar powered so there’s only USB power (and only one of the 2 sockets worked on our stay, but it’s enough as we only needed phone charge) - we also got EE 4G. To be expected, you also get a few creatures visiting but nothing too scary (we had a pet shrew for a few days so don’t leave food out). The fridge is teeny but works ok on solar and there’s plenty of hot water (just be careful in the shower!). Fab place to stay - got to be one of the most scenic spots in the UK (apart from the random Astra in the field) and also to explore from. You’ll not find a local pub to walk to but the nearby village of Dale has a fab seafood place and is only 15 mins drive away. "
