It was a £10+ taxi journey each way if you don't have your own car, and very little close by within walking distance, other than a Harvester restaurant. Although there is a Sainsbury's and a cinema/bowling alley a short drive or medium walk away."

"This was an excellent place to not only stay, but to also eat as it is a must wonderful public house as well. Everything was 5 star from check in, the wonderful comfortable room, the excellent food for dinner, and the delicious breakfast served by a very professional lady, unfortunately I didnt get her name. Hayley who was on hand running the dinner service the night before was very friendly and lovely too."
