"Given the other reviews, I knew I was taking a chance, but I was looking for someplace in the area that was pet friendly. Although I admit, my expectations going in were low, the hotel exceeded my expectations by quite a lot: The room was more than acceptable. The lobby is quite nice. The people who work there were all very friendly. The room was affordable. My dogs were comfortable. I had no interest in the in hotel breakfast because there were better breakfast places in town that I wanted to try. It was clear from the other reviews that the pool is not functional right now. The location could not be better and the price is right overall this was exactly what I wanted and needed it to be! :) "

"The hotel was updated and had plenty of outlets and usb ports. The internet worked well. Breakfast was over by the time we were up and dressed, so I don't know how good it was. Ask for a room away from the road as the road is quite busy, or wear ear plugs. I wore ear plugs and slept fine. "

"The staff and owners were very nice and very responsive. The hotel was clean surrounding area is a little sketchy. But that is not the hotel fault. It’s definitely close to Notre Dame University. Which is great location."
