"Located on a hill in an old mining town called Jerome this hotel is like stepping back in time. It’s above the Clinkscale Restaurant (which I highly recommend!). Once you check in (inside the restaurant), there is a separate entrance to the upstair rooms. Open the door and immediately feel transported to another era (no elevator here); but the staff will gladly assist you with your luggage. "We had a great stay at the Tavern. One of the reasons we booked was because of the breakfast at la Crema. We were a little dissappointed that our Easter breakfast basket did not have any pastries from la crema. The staff was great as well as we left something behind and appreciated that they found the item and left it at the front desk. We actually like staying at the Tavern rather than Sedona-the shops are quaint and the restaurants are much better than Sedona!"

We loved the convenience of the location being only a short drive (about 25 minutes and no traffic) to Uptown Sedona.
