"Our room was so spacious and clean. Our kids enjoyed the pool and spouse enjoyed the gym. It was easy to find and many dining options around the hotel. Will stay here again."

"Beautiful home in a quiet area away but close enough to Victoria and other attractions. We had 7 adults so the bedrooms were ideal. Only a couple suggestions. Shower caddy kept falling and even in the middle of the night, freaking us out. Perhaps toiletries too heavy for the suction cups? House fits 8 so maybe more drinking glasses and mugs too. Check out time is a bit early compared to other VRBO’s I’ve stayed at. Can’t enjoy breakfast cause have to wake up early to clean up and pack. Very thoughtful to leave drinks and snacks. Would definitely stay again."

"Pleasant surprise for one night business travel stay. Fantastic beds, pillows and linens. Toiletries smelled lux and soaker tub was a bonus. Bathroom floor could use a little more detail in the corners but I am being picky. Stay was great and I would return for sure…business or pleasure. Very good value for the quality provided"

"We stayed at this property to start off our Vancouver Island trip. It was convenient for us to be about 20 minutes outside the hustle and bustle of Victoria, and 20 minutes closer to Port Renfrew which we visited for the exeptional tidal pools at Botanical Beach. It had a well equipped kitchen, was very clean, and comfortable. It was in a quiet neighborhood a close drive to grocery shopping and hiking down at the beach parks. We thoroughly enjoyed the view of the strait of Juan de Fuca and the Olympic Park mountains from our living room. We would come back here again."

"We really enjoyed this peaceful and cozy home. The backyard was beautiful, we loved watching the birds and using the soaker tub and sauna. The inside was cozy and comfortable. Everyone had their own space, and we had a lot of fun playing darts and scrabble. The town of Sooke is very cute and the people were friendly. We travel quite a bit, and this has been one of my favorite places. I highly recommend staying here."

"We have been to many vacation homes but this one is our new favourite! The waterfront cabin is privately situated on the property, amidst beautifully maintained gardens and lawns. We were able to easily launch our sea kayaks using the stairs that lead down to the oceanfront. There were various decks we could use, with Adirondack chairs on the end of the dock, on a lower sun dock and bistro sets on the upper deck outside the cabin. The water in the hot tub on the front deck was crystal clear and so relaxing after a busy day of kayaking and bike riding on the galloping goose trail (right across the street!). When I stepped into the inside of the cabin I thought I may never leave! There are windows all around, leaving that view to be admired from every room. The bathroom has a large soaker tub from where you can relax in bath salts and gaze out over the bay. Each morning I would wake up to the view and the sounds of birds singing and the eagles and seagulls’ cries. We enjoyed the fire in the wood stove each evening while watching tv, fully equipped with Netflix and many channels. The kitchen has everything you need; lovely dishes, coffee mugs, wine glasses, dishwasher, or a barbecue outside. The Sooke basin is so beautiful to kayak along the shores. There are starfish, jelly fish and seals popping up everywhere. The shore line has gorgeous rocks, yew trees, wild flowers and lovely properties to admire. There are several little coves to explore. It’s a perfect stay!"
