Original Art |1904 Classic | Near Beach & Downtown

Newly renovated 1904 home in prime location. Remodeled kitchen and baths, gorgeous woodwork and floors, off-street parking. Full of original work (some for sale) from regional artists, cozy rugs, and a fun mix of mid-century and antique furniture. Stroll to downtown Sheboygan's Farmer's Market, stores, coffee shops and restaurants, the Kohler Art Center, and the beach. Or just relax on the front porch. We are also happy to share local tips including how to grill the area's famous brats.

You will have plenty of space to hang out together or find your own private nook at the 515 Guesthouse and Gallery. An elegant Master Suite with a King bed features a large, lovely bathroom with custom cabinets, Kohler plumbing fixtures, and a heated tile floor. Two other bedrooms with Queen beds share a bathroom with custom-made tiles, a pedestal sink, and a shower-tub combo. Downstairs Den can be used as a cozy reading room or an extra bedroom with a high-end, comfortable (truly) single sofa sleeper and a pocket door for privacy. First floor also features a half bath, a gracious foyer, and a light and airy family room that connects to a new kitchen with an expandable table for games and family meals. The house combines the charm of another era with modern comforts like central air conditioning and ceiling fans to keep you cool, though usually the breezes from the lake just down the hill suffice. The wide front porch is a great place to sit in a rocker and watch the world go by. The neighborhood is amazingly quiet for being in the center of things. On one side is the owner, and on the other beyond the grassy lawn is a historic church with a belfry and stained glass windows that light up at night. This lovely property is unique in all the best ways---a perfect base for exploring Sheboygan and all that the area has to offer.

515 Guesthouse also doubles as a showcase for artists so there is always new and interesting art on the walls, much of it for sale. We have spent the past years restoring this 1904 Foursquare, and ask that you help us preserve its wood floors for another 100 years by removing your shoes if they are wet or muddy or have high heels or cleats. We are excited to share 515 with you!!

After booking your reservation, you will receive a notification and link to complete our Rental Agreement, confirming the terms and conditions of your stay at 515, as well as a refundable security deposit, which you will be able to execute and set up digitally.

House was incredible. Plenty of room for all 6 guests. Beautiful furnishings and well equipped with everything you could need. Excellent location. 2 blocks through a beautiful historical district to the beach. Just a few block the other direction to a great assortment of local restaurants, shops and parks. Ted did a great job making us feel at home and gave some good recommendations on dinners. It was still warm enough outside that we were able to rent bikes and ride around town. A great town complimented with a great place to stay.

Our Stay at this home was truly delightful. It was a perfect place to gather with our grown kids and their spouses. We walked to downtown and then to the Lake front. Sitting on the front porch in early evening was such a treat. The owners were wonderful and so easy to work with. We highly recommend this home for your future stay in Sheboygan.

Sheboygan and the historic district is about 12 miles east of the track and often overlooked for track events but only a short drive away, many dining options, fabulous Lake Michigan and District homes. Owner has done a wonderful job restoring and upgrading classic property in quiet neighborhood. Don't miss!!!

The only thing lovelier than the house was our host, Ted. He had a list of activities we would be interested in waiting on our arrival. You can tell how much Ted loves this house. The house is updated with higher end appliances while keeping the historic charm. The fascinating artwork throughout the house something to take the time to look at. The location is perfection. A short walk to the beach or up to the park for the Farmer's Market. Very comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen and bathrooms, and spotless from top to bottom makes this house a must rent. We hope to be back nect summer!

My mom, sister and I stayed here for 3 nights for a relaxing weekend of being disconnected. This home was perfect for what we wanted. Its absolutely beautiful, full of character (and fantastic art), cozy and super clean. Our 2nd night it stormed all evening and we loved being able to sit out on the huge front porch, sipping wine and watching the rain. The owners live next door and bundled up in rain coats and stopped over to visit for a couple minutes while we were hanging out on the porch. Very pleasant people, welcoming and kind. The rooms are spacious, plenty of bathroom space (phenomenal shower in the master!), and lots of lounging areas. The kitchen was perfect as well and had everything we needed to stay in and cook. Beds were super comfy too! We had absolutely no issues throughout our stay and truly enjoyed ourselves. Highly recommend!

I highly recommend this delightful house. A great stay on all levels - (1) located in a scenic, quiet neighborhood walking distance to lake, outdoor spots, and the historic district. (2) Meticulously restored and maintained, with a balance of modern comforts, historic charm, and art. (3) Owners nearby and have a wealth of knowledge about local history and art to share. It’s rare to find lodging that exceeds the images and expectations, but this house does - a real gem along the Wisconsin lakeshore for anyone traveling the area. We will be back.

This house is welcoming and full of character. Spacious rooms, updated baths and well-stocked kitchen. Great location and felt like a home away from home. Ted was an incredible host and communicated in a timely fashion providing all information needed (In our opinion, he went over and above with added details such as list of local restaurants and destinations and he even shipped back items left by our children!) Can't say enough about the great trip and place to stay - we will be back!
