"What a truly beautiful place to stay. The cottage was lovely , the log fire was a big hit & perfect to come home to after a day of walking. Bobbie & Trevor were perfect hosts, always there to answer a question but never intrusive. Our nutty setter loved walking up & down their extremely long driveway, you do feel like you are in another world - away from everything. "The cottage was very clean and nicely furnished with some lovely welcome treats upon arrival. It was also a lovely quiet place. The only downside, personally, was we would have preferred a small table and chairs near the foot of the stairs over bar stools at a breakfast bar. Being able to use the log burner would have been nice but with a thatched roof, we understand the dangers of that."

"We had a lovely time during our week at Miller's Rest. The cottage was a brilliant size for a family of four with plenty of room. The kitchen equipment was limited for self catering and the wet rooms needed a little TLC due to use over time but nothing major. The location for Widemouth Bay and Bude (approx. 10min drive to Bude) was perfect. Being on a working farm added to the charm of the location and it was nice to be able to walk around.
