"Windows were dirty and there were cobwebs in the corners of the ceiling. The internet did not work in the two bedrooms on the bottom floor. It was hard to lock and unlock the front door. Other than that it was okay."

"We stayed at the Historic Hideaway for two nights with another couple. The apartment was clean and well decorated and we loved the exposed stone walls. We weren’t going to attempt getting the car into the drive, but we were able to find parking on the street with a parking disc. Since we were away most of the daytime hours, this never presented an issue (though we knew of the nearby parking garage, if we needed it.) The host also had great local recommendation. "Daisy’s cottage was the perfect space for our group of six adults. We enjoyed the kitchen space and the ability to eat in after long days exploring the area. Three bathrooms was also a huge plus! The cottage is convenient to Cork City, Cobh, and even a reasonable drive to Waterford. You definitely need a car if staying here. The property manager was great and easy to get in touch with! A lovely, quiet place for your Co. Cork adventures!"
