"The owners have lovingly restored this home and have made a very comfortable retreat in the Akron/Highlands area. Things that can't be helped is the neighborhood and the streets 'nightlife'. We found ourselves a little uneasy about walking around past dark and were woken up a few times overnight with music, cars and neighboring parties. Hence our 4 out of 5 rating. Also this home isn't for anyone that is physically challenged by stairs."

Check-in didn’t go perfectly as one of the automatic door locks didn’t accept the provided code, but there are two doors with automatic locks, and the code worked on the other door on the first try. "I can’t say enough good things about the process to book, communication with host, quality of property, and neighborhood. There was a lot of thought out into what guests need for their stay. It was a peaceful community, the decor was lovely, and the host was highly communicative. There’s plenty of beds to sleep in, the master bed was so comfortable (I overslept everyday!) Advice to future guests: get ready to relax! The area was perfect as well, everything I needed was in walking distance."

"We stayed for 3 nights and had a wonderful stay. The hosts, Susan and Mark, were helpful and welcoming but were not intrusive at all. The house had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The property is in a peaceful setting, but it’s just a short drive to stores and restaurants. We enjoyed interacting with the horses and barn cats. And the pool was a nice way to relax. We really enjoyed our stay and made nice memories."

"Stayed here with 7 adults. We were going to have 10 -12 but that would not have been comfortable for more than 8 adults. Host let us know that the twin/ trundle had been broken by previous guest but the 2 low twin mattresses in the loft would have been ok for chlildren or someone that didnt need privacy. "Nice quiet location, easy access to several different towns. This was a temporary housing for 4 adults and a dog until we found apartments. House was clean and had all of the amenties we needed, including king adjustable bed in master bedroom. Beautiful big back yard although it is not enclosed fencing. "We had a great stay. The home and surrounding areas are gorgeous. We had some trouble getting into the house but it was solved after a bit of time. I think working through some communication issues would be of great benefit. If we ever have the opportunity to come back to the area, or know anyone who does, we would recommend the place for sure."
