It was meant to be an overnight layover in Milan (original landing at 7:30 p.m. turned into past midnight), and with my connecting flight just 4–5 hours later, I even contemplated skipping the hotel altogether. Since it was too late for the free pick-up, I would have had to pay €35–40 for a taxi. Still, the staff (Celeste) stayed up late...
