"The hotel was very clean, and I had a lovely quiet room with an excellent view. The breakfast buffet had a good selection and though it changed little day to day I always left satisfied. One evening there was quite loud music coming from one of the restaurants somewhere below my room, at bedtime I did need to close the glass doors tightly to get to sleep, I missed the beautiful sound of the ocean that night. I probably wouldn’t return to Sesimbra, but not because of the hotel or the area, there were a few things I did not have time to do or see. It’s just that there are so many other areas of Portugal that I want to explore the next time I visit. "

"This is a wonderful, well situated hotel. The staff were all extremely polite and helpful. Our room was very comfortable and well appointed, even though a couple of extra sockets (for charging our devices) would have been great. The breakfast was amazing with vide variety of literally everything - pastries, cereals, fruit, fried foods, coffees and juices, cold meat cuts and cheese. The beach is literally just across the small street and is very clean. We would stay at Sana Sesmbra again, without a moment's hesitation."

The location was wonderful nestled up in the hills with superb poolside views, tucked away from the hustle & bustle below but not so far when you want to join in... perfect for cosy rest and relaxtion which is just what we needed on this visit... "It's a hostel. When you go inside, there are very strange smells. All night someone was arguing, probably workers live in the hostel. noise from the road."

"This place was amazing. Warm and welcoming and peaceful. The staff goes out of.their way to make your stay comfortable. The rooms are on the small side but we spent most of the time either by the pool or sightseeing. A full breakfast is included with eggs, fruit, bread, cheese, meat and assorted drinks. Very convenient location for exploring the area. We were very happy with this guest house."
