"Awesome property for a group of friends trying to hangout and have a good time. Owner was super helpful and understanding on various matters. Great beach access, where you can swim to various different islands and do cliff jumping. As you can see in the photo, there was also a water trampoline which the owners allowed us to use. On top of this, the owners provide kayaks and boats you can use to go into the water. Spacious cabins, and we were even granted an additional one complimentary. Overall...

"Owner is very friendly and spent time to make sure everything was ok. The property lacks essentials. Make sure you bring coffee, coffee filters, salt, pepper, soap and shampoo for shower etc. One hand towel in bathroom, and one toilet paper, no towels for showers and none for drying dishes etc. All of this can be fixed with a trip into Sydenham Foodland or some prior planning. The view over the lake from the deck is very nice. We had a great time. "

If only looking for very rustic fish camp with roof overhead, then this is place for you. Family vacation is it not. "We arrived late due to 4 accidents in 401 west, DVP and 401 East. The website says check in after 4 pm, but the owner said that it is at 4 pm and as such she had to pay the money we paid her to the property manager to wait for us. there was no paper in the washroom which was very dirty. the rooms, dishes, appliances were all dirty. there was no gas for BBQ and no oven tray to cook the food we brought. the owner kept on blaming us for being late and that she did not make money out of our stay....

"We stayed for 3 nights and it was nice to be by the water but the cabin was very poorly maintained. Screen was hanging out of the door. There was very little in the way of cutlery (2 forks only). Trees need trimming so that renters can see the water. Nice to canoe the lake and watch the diving birds in the evenings."
