Did not see downtown Sayre. Our destination was Watkins Glen and Seneca Lake which was just under an hour drive. Convenient and less pricey than Finger Lake lodging.

Very quiet and I live in New York City area but I was a little nervous driving from the parkway. I was by myself and the streets my GPS directed me to take through the local neighborhood were dark and not lit and I was nervous to be honest.
