Summary:
Welcome to The Coastal Haven; your home away from home in Savannah! This 3bedroom, 2 bath cottage that sleeps 10 has everything you need for your coastal getaway! Take a quick 10 min trip to the Botanical Gardens or spend the day in Downtown Savannah, which is only 20 min away. Don't forget to check out the perfect picture of Southern Gothic architecture and design at the Bonaventure Cemetery then head over to the Pirates House where you can experience history while you eat! We hope to host you!

The Space:
The front door opens to the main living area of the home with two couches, one that opens to a queen pullout bed! Past the living room is the kitchen and dining area. Here you will find a cozy table for four and a fully-equipped kitchen!

There are two hallways that will take you to the bedrooms and bathrooms. The hallway near the front door will take you to the master bedroom which has a king bed and a spacious ensuite bathroom! The hallway off the kitchen will take you to the other bedrooms and the shared bathroom! The second bedroom has a queen bed and there are two twin over twin bunk bed in the third bedroom! All bedrooms have closets for you to store your belongings during your stay!

The backyard can be accessed through the sliding glass doors in the dining room. The expansive fenced-in backyard has a charcoal grill and tons of room for pets and kids to run around!

Guest Access:
The house has a digital keypad at the front door which will provide you access to the house. The code will be provided upon check-in. You will have full and private access to the home.

The Neighborhood:
This stunning neighborhood offers you the best of both worlds by providing easy access to Historic Downtown Savannah to experience all the city has to offer, with the ability to slow down and relax with the comforts of home!

Getting Around:
This is a residential area, so driving is recommended. Uber and Lyft are available as well. Street parking is available for if cars cannot fit on driveway.

Other Things to Note:
We require a signed rental agreement and for guest to be 25 years of age to book.

We are a pet friendly home. Pets must be crated when they are left unattended in the home. We do not allow pets on furniture or beds, and all waste must be cleaned up from the yard. All pets require a non-refundable pet fee. If there is evidence of pet hair on the furniture, excess hair in the home, stains, or waste found in the yard or home, you will be charged the cost to clean this. In the event that a security deposit is collected, we will retain all or part of the security deposit to cover any costs associated with additional cleaning due to pets.

Just ok nothing special
Check in process was seamless and getting in was fine but when you walk in there is a family photo of the owners of the home so it makes it feel like you are invading someone else's space. The back door is incredibly hard to open and shut and if your older there is no way you will be able to pull shut, It really needs to be replaced. I received a follow up message the next morning about our stay which was fine but then again that evening that I needed to check out at 10 am sharp. Then again in the morning, which was too much bugging for me for a vacation stay. Its a place to sleep but will not rebook because it doesn't give a vibe that your being invited in too make it yours for a day or so.

Has The Potential To Be Great
This rental has the potential to be great. I think they could use a better cleaning crew and have better communication. Upon arrival, the door code I was given did not work, so I had to call and handle that but thankfully someone answered quickly. There were numerous cigarette butts in the backyard left from previous guests, and the trash can that was left on the curb was overflowing with trash, including cases of beer and mini liquor bottles, as well as more trash that had to sit on the ground next to the can, so it seemed like the trash had not been discarded in a long time. A few cookware items were dirty and plates caked with food, but I also know from first hand that the dishwasher did not clean very well. The owner texted me after the first night to ask how everything was, and I mentioned that I was surprised there was no laundry detergent (I figured it was standard to supply when there is a washer and dryer). The owner replied that they would get in contact with the cleaning crew and see what they could do, and I never got a response back. I also mentioned the cigarette butts and that I did not want to be charged the fine for something that was not mine. I did not get a response until I reiterated the concern the next day, to which the owner responded they were sorry the cleaners missed this. There definitely needs to be simple cleaning supplies on hand as well for accidents and spills. I saw another guest wrote in the guest book that they had this suggestion as well back in July. The street and neighbors were quiet, however the main road has a lot of sketchy, tweaker people on it, so just be cautious. Overall I enjoyed my stay, but improvements could be made!

Nice Stay
This is a very nice stay if you plan on staying out the house all day. I took off two stars due to the place only having one tv which was problematic with kids. The internet did not work but the owners communicated very well and resolved the issue!
