"The house is beautiful! The upper floor which we rented is very spacious and decorated with love and attention. Although the building itself is old, it has been equipped with all modern conveniences during the renovation. The owners are extremely nice and the house was super clean. We had to get used to the remote location and the fact that the house can only be reached by a challenging gravel path. But once used to this idea, we had a wonderful time. "Incredible experience from the very beginning. Stayed at Frederick's and Magda's house for two nights with my 20 year old son. The drive up the mountain dirt road from Figaro gave us a thrill and a challenge for our rented Opel Corsa, but it was so worth it! If you're using GPS make sure you navigate to the farm from El Garriga - a little bit longer but a much better road and a lot kinder on your vehicle. Frederick and Magda were absolutely fabulous hosts and treated us like part of the family....

"Notre sejour s’est bien passe. 2 petits bemols cependant concernant la proprete du bien notamment dans la cuisine ( placards, vaisselle) et la proximite avec la route et la pension canine qui representent des nuisances sonores. A part cela le proprietaire est charmant et tres disponible. L’entretien de la piscine et du jardin est fait tous les 2 jours et la maison est spacieuse et les jardin et piscine tres agréables"

The lintel over the front door indicates it was built in 1776, but step inside and it’s uncompromisingly modernist – the glass staircase is particularly exciting, and it’s fun to shower in the middle of a big room.
