… (2) For the farmers in Santa Elena their main product were flowers, beautiful of countless colors and shapes. To get the attention of potential customers these creative farmers would arrange their flower into huge masterpieces which just kept getting better with time. Sadly, but understandably, eventually this form of selling their flowers went into disuse. But their creativity and innovation seems to be ever growing! (Keep reading in the other #Festival posts)

"The property advertised free WiFi. It never worked the entire time we were there, even after they promised it would be repaired. As a result, we left two days early and asked for a refund for those two unused days. The property refused to provide a partial refund. And, the property sits right above the main highway to Bogata, it is VERY noise as the trucks are all in low gear to climb the steep hill. And, we were eaten alive by mosquitos ! And, the water pressure there is lousy, make it...

"What an amazing Hotel in the Manila district of Medellin. Complete with rooftop bar, pool and Gym. With between 150 to 250 Mbs, a workcation isn’t out of the question here. Many options for dining out are within easy walking distance from fine dining tastes to more delectable handheld food."
