Great Location, Views, and Fun things to do!
The facility was excellent, nearly perfect in every way. While we encountered a couple of minor issues, the owner was quick to address them. The most significant concern was the dust accumulation under the couches, which the cleaners had overlooked. However, I don’t hold the owner responsible for this. As someone with dust allergies, it caused a slight inconvenience, but I’m confident the owner will take care of it now that it's been brought to their attention. Aside from that, the facilities were very clean and comfortable. Despite the less-than-ideal weather, we had a very enjoyable and comfortable stay. We would definitely choose to stay here again!

Perfect family vacation!
Just got back from a fantastic week. The lake house had great views and was more spacious than the pictures showed. The kids loved the bunk house and swimming off the dock. The property was very well equipped and super clean. I found the host to be very responsive to our questions. We would definitely rent this property again!

Annual Family Vacation
We absolutely loved this house. We gathered together with our siblings, spouses, & kids for a much loved annual family vacation. The bunk house was so perfect for all the kids & the house had a lot of lake house charm & comforts of home with nice appliances & comfy beds. It was a great layout for us to all hang out together inside or out. Lots of places to explore on the property. Dock for swimming & to dock the boat we rented. Grill & fire pit were perfect for grilling & s’mores. Can’t recommend this property enough.

Beautiful location
Loved our house on the lake. We had two of the families stay in the cottage. Not a great spot for babies because no walls for the bedrooms. House was clean and sunrise and sunset were beautiful from the porch. I would highly recommend renting the boat. It was fabulous.

We thoroughly enjoyed this private charming Lakehouse, with a separate bunkhouse for the younger crowd that wanted to stay up a little later. We hope to be able to come back and visit again.

The best weekend of the year!
The listing pictures do not do this beautiful home justice! It was everything anyone could want- water right at your feet, kayaks for people to venture out and tons of yard and house space for enjoyimg each other. Our group spent about 90% of the time outside or on the extra living space right off the deck. The bunk house was a hit to watch the Celtics on the projector & everyone was already asking to rebook for next year when we were saying goodbye. Scott has a beautiful home & was an absolute breeze to work with. Thank you for letting us share that space for our favorite weekend of the year.

Peaceful NH Home Getaway!
The group so enjoyed the views from inside the sunporch and along the deck and dock. Sunrises were simply amazing, especially over coffee and biscotti's from Laconia Bakery. Great home base for day trips to Franconia Notch SP, Mt Washington, Concord and Portsmouth. Modern kitchen to take out fresh seafood and cook it up and eat in that peaceful sunporch. We recommend! Thank You!

Great place to stay
Stayed at this house with a group of friends, and it was absolutely amazing! Besides it’s great views and extra house, it was able to accommodate all of our needs. Waking up with the view of the lake everyday is something we all enjoyed. Would consider going back again.

Wonderful Place for a Family Vacation
Decisions, Decisions. Breakfast on the deck under the umbrella, or in the front room with all those windows looking out on the Gunstock mountain range and the lake? That about sums it up for this vacation home. We had the "older adults" in the main home and the two younger families in the "bunkie house". This allowed our large group of 13 to spread out. Ladder ball and cornhole games in the yard and a campfire with smores at night. Floating on tubes next to the dock and out on our pontoon boat for deeper swimming at Three Islands, fishing, and tubing (Let's not forget visiting the sandbar Lol). That was our week. The main house is not over crowded, nicely decorated and just feels..."Comfortable". It has all the amenities you need. Couch and recliner seating for 11, lots of storage in the kitchen. The breakfast counter makes a great buffet table and dining room seating for 14. (not counting the outside table & chairs (10) Be sure to look thru all the cabinets to find all the cooking tools you need. Plenty of hot water. The ice bucket is a little small for 13 but the freezer is Large and holds plenty of bagged ice. The "drink" fridge (I suspect meant for wine) is a bonus and holds plenty of bottle water and soda keeping the kids out of the main fridge. The projector TV in the bunky house was a hit with the kids, but except for 1 night the tv's in the main house never got turned on. Bunky house with its minisplit AC unit and 3 ceiling fans kept cool nicely. Main house1st floor AC and ceiling fans did the same. But be sure to open all those screened windows for nice fresh cool evening lake air. Large dumpster to deal with your trash is a PLUS for a lake house. Washer & dryer cuts down on the amount of clothes (especially for kids). WiFi worked fine with all those adults on their devices. HINT: Bring the deck cushions in at night (or put them in their deck box) to prevent the night time "dew" or possible shower. We have stayed in 5 different houses over the years on Lake Winnisquam and we give this a 5/5. Many Thanks to the Drapeau Family for sharing their home.

Amazing Weekend Getaway
This property was perfect for our group of friends who were looking for a relaxing weekend getaway. The property is gorgeous, with amazing views of the lake and the combination of the main house with the additional "Bunky" is highly recommended. Although we were not able to utilize the pontoon boat this trip, it is a great addition that I would look forward to incorporating into our next stay. In addition to the stay itself, Scott was quick to respond to any questions we had and was a great help throughout the rental process.

Location Location Location
We just spent last weekend at this property and we had a really great time. The location of this home is unbelievable, directly on the beautiful Lake Winnisquam. The entire front of the home are windows that overlook the lake, as does the window in the primary bedroom. We woke up to the most beautiful scenery one could imagine. The home was perfect for our family with many different places to gather. The outside yard great for game playing, the kayaks, the firepit, the front porch, all places and things we really enjoyed using. We also actually rented a pontoon boat from the marina that is right on the lake as well for the time we were there which we enjoyed immensely! With the dock in place we could pull right up to the home and dock there. We had a blast! We even enjoyed watching the Patriots play on the magnificent home theater projector screen in the "bunky" which is another space that comes with the home that is so private and lovely...we can't say enough about this property. Scott, the owner, was excellent to deal with and was very accommodating with all my questions. We never left the property...not even to go out for dinner...I cooked all weekend in the nicely appointed kitchen that literally overlooks the entire lake. We will definitely stay here again! We loved it!!! Thank you Scott and Heidi for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Fantastic location with the house sitting right on top of the water! Super clean plenty of space no complaints whatsoever. Just a heads up if this matters to you it didn’t matter to us but you can walk out very far before the water gets deep so the dock is not for jumping off but it’s excellent for just floating around and being able to easily get back to shore. We were also able to rent their pontoon boat which was nice to explore at the lake.

This location worked perfectly for our family escape. The main home and bunk house easily accommodated our varying aged party in comfort. The pictures provided in the listing helped set real expectations too. Scott (property owner) was very accessible, willing to answer questions, and easy to contact. Beautiful spot
Very well furnished and equipped with everything needed and feels more like a home than a rental property. Gorgeous view of the lake and easy launching of kayaks. Large lawn area great for games. The bunkhouse was a bit cold due to the time of year but would be a huge benefit for kids in the summer. Projection TV is a great feature and was enjoyed. Owner was very responsive and great to work with. The area is quiet and you really need to go to Laconia just 10 mins away to find a few restaurants but would definitely stay here again and would book again this summer if a week was available!
