"Wonderful place, nothing fancy but absolutely spotless. The restaurant had great food and the staff was very hospitable. Excellent price. It was just outside of town and GPS was way off so look for Olivo Restaurant near the gas station. A great bargain!"

"El alojamiento es un encanto ambientado interiormente en el SXVIII. El exterior más de lo mismo. Sin embargo, el bar restaurante con terracita no lo vimos abierto en ningún momento, parecía estar abandonado. Al estar ubicado en pleno centro, se oía jaleo por las calles hasta altas horas. "The hotel was perfect for a quiet stay in winter in Sierra de Gredos. The room was more than I expected for the price and I love the beautiful, antique style of the hotel and the amazing views. My one *small* concern is that I had to depart at 9:30- reception and breakfast were supposed to start at 9, and there was seemingly nobody at the hotel. I left my key by the front desk, but a coffee before I left would have been nice! "

"I was very satisfied with the hostel, the room was clean, bright, and spacious. The view from the window was also great. The owner was a very cheerful and kind person. I went to "Santuario de San Pedro de Alcantara", and the scenery was wonderful on the gentle 2.7km riverside road from the hostel to there, the birds singing and the babbling brook were soothing, and I was impressed by the scent of flowers when I breathed in. It was a very nice place."
