It's a quiet suburb that is 20-30 min away from the city. It's more cost-effective than most downtown hotels and a round-trip boat ride is only about 100 SEK (~€8/~$10). A nice quiet alternative away from the city and action.

Lovely little get a way
"We spent a very happy 8 nights here. As we hadn't rented a car we relied on the local train - which worked well and we nipped in to Stockholm easily a couple of times.
