Weekend Away
Frank and Bao have created a great renting experience for their guests. We were surprised at how well stocked the house. Firewood, grilling supplies, even some bowtie of candy. We spent a lot of time on the deck overlooking the lake grilling and playing games. While we couldn't use the dock nearest the property, a very short walk around the block was the community dock where we did some fishing. The hosts communicated well before and during our stay giving us tips for any quirks we should be aware of. During our stay, a tornado hit the town of Salina nearby and damaged this property and knocking out power to the town and this cabin. We were stuck due to road closures due to downed trees and power lines. There hosts found a way through and came to check on us offering to walk to the store if we needed anything. There began seeing up a generator to get us power and we're very gracious. Good news though, the damage was minor to the property and will not take away from your stay in a cozy, comfortable, scenic cabin by the lake. Despitr the storm, We had a blast!
