"The cottage is very well kept and the owner does her best to be of assistance. That part was excellent. I would warn non French Speaking tourists about the difficulties of communication in St Lory. English and Spanish are almost useless."

"Cette maison de montagne était charmante et spacieuse…. un rêve ! C'était propre, bien équipé et le propriétaire était gentil et a répondu rapidement. Nous avons acheté des repas, du pâté et de la confiture à Roselyn et Thiery. C'était une option très pratique et les repas étaient délicieux, à base de viande de chasse de Thiery et d'ingrédients frais et locaux. Nous reviendrons certainement. Merci."

"The setting was beautiful (Peyragude near Loudenvielle in the French Pyrenees) but unfortunately the condo was completely infested with hundreds of flies, every day I'd vacuum them from the walls, ceilings, beds, bathrooms, etc. and every day more would hatch (clearly nests are permeating the space). Pointed it out to the property manager but they made no attempts to do anything about it for our entire week-long stay. Also, they said bed linens and towels were included in the rental, however...

"Peaceful, remote, cosy, romantic, well equipped. This is exactly what we wanted for our mini-honeymoon in late summer. Dream view and location. Loved the two hot and cold spa baths, the comfortable bed/pillows, and the cooking utensils. Strongly recommend buying all groceries in advance, the closest shops are a 20 min drive down long windy narrow roads (including essentials - oil, salt, sugar etc.) We cooked all of our own meals, so happy to not have to go into town. "Le chalet est très bien agencé , une grande pièce de vie et des chambres spacieuses , un dortoir pour enfants … l’idéal pour un séjour entre amis/famille . Également très bien situé, à deux pas de la navette menant au pied des pistes. Très bon accueil ! Seul inconvénient, le ménage de sortie n’est pas compris dans le prix (presta 150€). Une très bonne adresse pour un court ou long séjour ."
