"Lovely modern gite in the heart of Ardeche and equiped to a high standard. The driveway is a bit steep for a low profile car, mine ended up with scrapes under the bumpers but with care it was possible to monoeuvre. In truth the only real downer was the pool which is the largest I've ever seen for the sole use of a single gite but was simply too cold. I was assured the pool was heated but you couldn't tell, such a shame."

The accommodation comprises a lovely upstairs bedroom, a kitchen/bedroom/living room where our hosts had lived for decades and a separate bathroom/utility room on the other side of the small courtyard. Night-time and early morning temperatures were low due to the altitude, but it soon warmed up and by lunchtime it was quite hot.
