"Considering the price, this was a great value option in the Medoc wine region. The hotel is a little dated but clean and well maintained. The reception staff are great. The only thing that could have improved our stay was having more to do around the hotel with young children. With the outdoor pool out of action we were able to use the indoor pool at lunchtime and dinner time each day but otherwise there wasn't much to do. It would be great for example if they could install some petanque courts and provide the equipment. Also more bikes, we were interested in hiring bikes but someone else had hired them."

"4 stars The room was okay—clean and suited for a short stay. The free parking was a big plus, with plenty of spaces available. For the price, the value felt fair. There were quite a few restaurants within walking distance, which was really convenient. The only complaint is that there’s no elevator, so we had to carry our heavy suitcases up and down the stairs. Overall, a good stay with just one main inconvenience"

"I really love this hotel. It is part of the Contact chain of hotels. The room was nice, clean and spacious. The public tram is only a few minutes from the hotel. Parking is easy and free. There is no laundry facility in this room, though Expedia lists it as one of the amenities. There is a laundromat in the shopping mall close by. Overall, La Provencale is great value for the money. "
