"This house was just perfect for our weekend with 2 friends and the central location was just the right position to reach many of the WW2 museums and beaches so well worth extending our drive from Calais. We loved the view of the harbour and the experience of the Sunday market right outside our door. The house is very well equipped, comfortable and exceptionally clean. "Great small town, the host were very responsive and kind."

"We stayed here for 3 nights to explore Normandy by car. Port-en-Bessen is a perfect location and this house is in the middle of it. Wonderful hostess met us and walked us thru the house and made sure we were comfortable and all our questions were answered. She provided us with local and Normandy information and the house was extremely well stocked for us. Three wonderful nights and we were sad to leave. We travel a lot and this was our favorite house and town to stay in. We will be back!"

"Beautiful property situated in the Normandy countryside. Perfect for D-Day sightseeing. If you want peace and quite this is the place for you. Lovely pool for the hot days and children. Amenities like supermarkets anout 4k away. Hosts very welcoming and accommodating, no problem too small. Everything catered for perfect ."

The owner, Mr Langlois, was so knowledgable about the town's past that his family had lived through. Plenty of places to eat, and it was very interesting to see the busy fishing harbour."
