"Super location, older character style properly right on the main square. Very helpful stuff. However rooms are dated and beds uncomfortable. We booked superior room which was very basic. I can only imagine what standard rooms are like. Toilet and bathroom are separate across the room which was not good having to go across to wash your hands after using toilet facility. "Having the restaurant closed and the hotel locked when we arrived at 6:30 pm was a bit of a pain. We couldn’t get an answer from the number on the door and were about to leave and find another hotel when I found another number in my email that got a response. The place was fine otherwise."

The restaurant offered a choice of set menus and a la carte and we noticed that there was a good childrens' menu. Our food was excellent and beautifully presented. Drinks were reasonably priced and there was an extensive wine list. The continental breakfast was fine. Staff were friendly, polite, helpful and very attentive. "Reminds me of a 50's style motel, and it really is set up as a motel type accomodation. The room very small and hard for two people to move around. I found it interesting, and a bit insulting, that the first day bottled water was left, as well as two coffee single packs, but after the first day you are charged .50 eurors for each coffee and more for water. Both Elaine and Isabelle at the front desk are wonderful - dinner service can be quite slow but perhaps that is the French way of not...
