"This was our first time getting all our family together in one location at the same time and everyone had a great time. There were 3 generations - grandparents to small children - and the place offers something for everyone. The house was large with more than enough room for our group of 16. The long dining table allowed everyone to eat together in comfort. The well-equipped kitchen with double oven made cooking easy. The open-concept Great Room was spacious enough for everyone while the smaller peripheral rooms allowed people to have some quite time away from the group if they desired. Wifi was strong for those needing to work, beds were large and comfortable, and the basement games room had something for everyone. We rented a pontoon boat from the local marina which was a great addition to the weekend's activities. Kim and Mark were wonderful hosts. It was easy to text them if we had any questions and we always got an immediate response. There were small touches of hospitality everywhere - bug spray, hats, doggie bags, shampoo & conditioner, coffee, condiments...all available for use by guests. We booked our stay because I said I wanted the "VRBO commercial" for my 60th Birthday and that's exactly what I got! Everything was just perfect. Thank you Kim and Mark for making our trip a one-of-a-kind experience for everyone in our group."

"Basic rooms, very clean and professional and friendly staff. The motel is quick access to many restaurants, a grocery store, and 2.5 kilometers from downtown Huntsville. Great location. If you don’t mind a basic room, it’s perfect for the budget friendly person and the room was cleaned after I returned after a day out. Very clean room and had everything I needed. The pool is also nice, fun for kids. "
