"The type of home stay that Tom offers is one of the joys travelling, particularly as a solo walker. Tom is an excellent host and his cottage is beautiful. "The hotel was a bit tired upstairs but downstairs had been fully decorated & was modern & different. Our room was at the back so it was quiet but as it had no window there was no fresh air & it smelt a bit of cigarette smoke too. The bed was ok & the bathroom was fine. There was tea & coffee & a tv but no signal so dont know if it worked ! We paid extra for breakfast which was really tasty especially the sausages! The staff were all friendly & hard working."

"Met up with a friend at this delightful guest house. Louise is an excellent host and was very informative about the area and where to visit. The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful and set us up for the day. Room was clean and well presented and Louise thoughtfully gave us an extra heater as it was a chilly day. Can highly recommend."
