Located in the heart of Midtown and on the River! Base Camp is the perfect place for your family to call home while visiting the cool tall pines of Ruidoso, NM. With its large, open floor plan, modern decor and convenient location, Base Camp has something for everyone. The master bedroom features a king-sized bed, a unique in-room bathtub as well as his and hers sinks. This distinct design creates a space that welcomes some intimate quality time for its guests. Off of the master bedroom, there is a small personal workspace. The fully stocked, open kitchen has all the things you need to cook your family favorite meal or bake up some memories with the littles. Cozy up next to the wood burning fireplace in the living room to watch a movie or catch up with everyone after a long day of skiing, shopping, or exploring Ruidoso. There is an extra game lounge for the kiddos to hook up their gaming consoles or challenge each other to a game of foosball. Make yourself a cocktail or pour you some wine at the small wet bar. The back of the house has 3 more bedrooms, 1 with a king bed, one with a queen bed and one with a full. There is a jack and jill bathroom with double sinks and a shower/tub combo. Base Camp is centrally located behind Midtown, and right on the Ruidoso River. You'll be close to all the action while also feeling remote and peaceful. Stay alert for wildlife while visiting as Base Camp often has visitors such as deer, elk, wild horses, foxes and possibly even a black bear!! Please, no pets at this cabin.
We have worked hard to create a safe and cozy environment at Base Camp and although this cabin is located in an area that was significantly affected by the summer flooding of 2024, the village is actively working to restore its former beauty.
