"This delightful house is set in an small historic town located in a central part of the Loire, on the river Cher. From here we could explore the Loire Valley itself, the Solonge, and Berry. The cottage was comfortable, warm and suited our needs as a couple. Deborah provided easy instructions and a warm greeting when we arrived. St Aignan has enough facilities, including food options. "Maison agréable et pratique. Matériel parfois un peu vieillissant: lave vaisselle, grille pain, mobilier de jardin, lave linge. Lac à 100 m de la maison: baignade agréable et super feu d’artifice le 14 juillet!"

"We really enjoyed our trip to the Loire Valley, the area is really in the countryside and lovely and peaceful. The cottage was clean, well equipped and roomy. We had some good trips out to Blois (the Chateau is really nice) and the town had some good shops, Clos Luce Parc (which is where Leonardo da Vinci lived), this was very popular with school trips etc. and is well worth a visit, as was Orleans (for shops etc.). We had a good day out also at the Zoo Parc de Beauval, not cheap but well...
