"The property is very well equipped and in a beautiful location, really quiet and peaceful with lots of amazing wildlife to spot.Lovely pool area and gardens, hosts Nadine and Jean Luc were excellent, with great communication and they even presented me with a cake and candle, as we arrived at the property on my birthday!Overall, a fantastic holiday that has created a lifetime of memories, thank you."

"Beautiful property with so much character! We loved preparing meals and sitting outside for dinner in the evening sun. Very peaceful yet still close to the town. Loved being in the countryside with lots of wildlife and watching the farmers work from a distance. Everything was very new and good quality. Pool was excellent. Would definitely recommend! "

"The owners are friendly and very nice. They were on site the whole time we were there, so we shared the pool with them and the people renting their smaller apartment (although we were never actually in the pool at the same time). We didnt realise this from the advert. The house is nice, but a little old fashioned - the kitchen and bathroom could really do with a refresh as they feel very dated. "Our second time staying at Maison Des Roses. That we came back indicates we like the area and property. Second time was even better than the first. The house felt even more homely - and we had a perfect stay enjoying the garden and pool, with occasional trips out. Everything you need is on hand, it is thoughtfully hosted and well managed on behalf of the owners. Recommended without hesitation. and"

"Great location just off the motorway, very efficient check in and although the meal we had was expensive for what appeared to be a microwave dish, we were happy as a family to have it available. The room was large, two separate bedrooms and a huge bathroom. Warm, clean and comfortable."

"This hotel was in a great position to walk down to Bergerac and look around the many lovely shops and restaurants it has to offer. The room was modern and the bed was comfortable. The air con worked well in the room and there was a kettle. The only negative was that the tea bags/sugar weren’t replaced and there was no milk left. The receptionist we had for the weekend we were there (August 22-25th) was outstanding! She was very helpful, had excellent english and couldnt do more for you. As well as that she always had a smile and a hello for you when you entered or exited the building. Overall i would recommend this hotel and would go again if i was staying in Bergerac. "

"Booked a room for seven nights, but checked out after the first night. It was incredibly hot that week, around 105 degrees. The room had no air conditioning, or fans. The windows could not be open during the evening because there were no screens in the windows and with the mosquitoes and bats flying around that was not an option. It was cooler outside than in the room. When I decided to check out the following day the staff were apologetic, but there was nothing they could do. The resort, as of now has not offered a refund for the remaining six nights."
