"Our family stayed here for 4 nights while exploring the surrounding area. The location was just what we needed for visiting Mt. Rushmore, Deadwood, Custer State Park and an assortment of other places. From the time we walked through the door it felt welcoming and homelike. We played games at the kitchen table, roasted hot dogs and s’mores over the fire pit and grandchildren, who had never tasted fresh eggs, announced they never wanted store bought eggs again!😆 A good time was had by all. "The property is even more beautiful than in the pictures! Very quite and clean. Layout of the house is perfect for a large group with plenty of space for privacy of each guest. The house is fully stocked with all the necessities and then some. The sauna is good sized and the hot tub was perfect! Would highly recommend this property!"

"A private, peaceful, beautifully built home sitting on a fenced pasture facing away from town with stunning views of the Black Hills including cattle and horses. 3 gorgeous decks-views on every side of this home. This home was built facing a direction where you even have privacy while you are outdoors and set very far away from the road with an entryway marked by large boulders and iron eagle sculptures. Immaculately clean with oversized comfortable furniture in each living area."

"We stayed at this home over Labor Day weekend to visit family in the area. This place was very clean, spacious and so comfortable for all. The location is now my favorite place in the Black Hill. Just beautiful! So relaxing to wake up every morning to the peaceful sound of the Rapid Creek just steps from the back door. We will definitely be staying here again."

"This cabin is fabulous! Close to all the highlights of the black hills. Thw owner was super kind and very helpful with what to see in the black hills. The cabin was well stocked. Loved all the wildlife on the property everyday. Great place to relax after sightseeing!"

"The location and cleanliness were excellent. However the downstairs door to the deck would not lock. Property manager was aware of this BEFORE we checked in and said they couldn't get parts to repair door lock. We were not made aware of this until we tried to lock the door."

"Overall, this house was well stocked with towels and the hot tub was great. We were thinking this would be a little more remote than it was, given a neighbor is right across the creek. The back of the house was a peaceful hillside though. We didn't realize there also wasn’t a dishwasher. While washing our own dishes was fine, the ones already put away weren’t all clean."

"Host was easy to work with and very welcoming. When we had car trouble on a holiday weekend, they were very understanding and we didn't have any problems extending our stay an extra night. Definitely on our list of return stays! "
