"Just arrived home from a 2 night stay at the woodlands hotel . Receptionist holly is very friendly and welcoming also helpful with information on places to visit. All the breakfast staff are polite everyone makes you feel welcome. Rooms are clean warm and comfortable Ideal base for lakes and towns . Did not want to leave will definatley stay again."

"Really lovely stay. Loved the high ceiling in the bedroom and the fantastic view of Windermere even from the ground floor. Tea/coffee making facilities. Very helpful friendly staff, great location and so easy to use. Would highly recommend and definitely stay again. Could do with more pegs/shelves in bathroom."

"The hotel is in a great position, right by the lake. Plenty of areas to sit out weather permitting. Staff are friendly and helpful as well as being efficient. Near by some of the attractions of the area i.e. boats and steam train. Would definitely visit again."
