Good property with potential

The location was great, right in the city center. The host was attentive to my requests and able to accommodate my late check in. As for the apartment, it was very clean and everything worked well. It should be noted there were no towels or paper towels in the kitchen to dry anything if you cooked and washed dishes. Other than that it was a great property to stay at and explore Rome from.

The best thing about this apartment was the location. Loved the location however, we were disappointed in the extra $40 charge for arriving on a Sunday which we were advised of only when it was too late to find another place. The floors could be cleaner and more than 1 towel per person would be appreciated. We asked for hand towels but were told no. Overall, I think there are better options in Rome although this place could be great if some things were improved. It has potential.

The property is in a great location. The apartment is spacious, and the beds are very comfortable. I booked through Expedia, but the reservation was handled by a sister company, which caused some confusion. The booking details did not mention a late check-in fee for arrivals after 7 pm, nor did it specify the additional city tax per night (common in Rome). It would be better to provide all this information upfront. Overall, I would recommend this property.

great property, bad communication

the apartment was beautiful, very big, and in a great location. however there were no hand towels in the kitchen or bathroom, and not enough toilet paper. check in was also very confusing. the host told us one thing while their colleague texted me different instructions and was very pushy and insistent on collecting the city tax immediately. i checked with both and they were still not on the same page. a third unknown person came and collected the city tax days later with no warning or communication and was already unlocking the door by the time i had walked over to it after hearing the doorbell, which was unsettling. overall, the apartment was very nice and i would definitely stay here again if the communication between the three people all telling me different things is fixed.
