"My 21 year old daughter, 19 year old son, dog, and my husband and I enjoyed Pepin for the first time over the weekend. We loved how close we were to the marina and beach! Our dog had a great time swimming. We walked around the cute town, then drove to the winery which was amazing. The sleeping arrangements were a bit tight for us, but we managed with a blow up bed that was brought over. The fences in yard was perfect for our dog. We really enjoyed this beautiful area! "The loft was decorated perfectly, was super roomy with high ceilings and historic charm, and had everything we needed and so many extras (like the steam shower that wasn't mentioned in the description!). The downtown location across the street from the river walk, eagle center, and old legion coffee (a block away) was perfect. The host was kind, responsive and accommodating ! I watched over her during the night and came back and rested in the condo so well during the day. My husband, Dr Arnie Jostock was from rural Lake City so I know the town well. "It needed attention-counters were not clean and had crumbs of food on them-tablecloth was dirty-bathroom was not wiped-stains on furniture etc. On the plus side, the beds were great!There were no trash/recycle bins outside. We didn’t know what to do with dirty towels!?Also there were some tripping hazards that should have been marked. "
