"Arrived around 6pm no staff at hotel so self checkin with a keybox, felt more like Airbnb than a hotel but cost same as much nicer fully staffed hotels we stayed other days. Place is run down and needs refurb"

"Older style rooms but comfortable. In the middle of town & very close to the Castle. Friendly, helpful staff. Food at dinner & breakfast very nice, hot breakfast was cooked on request. A little tricky finding the car park but finally worked out well."

"The property is stunning, set in beautiful grounds, and the staff are lovely. They’re welcoming, accommodating, and were wonderful with my daughter, who is neurodivergent. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone."

"Amazing as we remember it when we last came 9 years ago, had a Warm Welcome on arrival from Tracy's Son and we stayed in exactly the same room as we did 9 years ago. Room was beautiful and spotlessly clean in such a peaceful location. Breakfast was freshly cooked and lovely, filled me for the day, my Partner had Welsh Rarebit which she said was stunning. Looking at returning again next year, we won't leave it another near decade until next time, 10/10! "
