This is a quiet place to spend a few days or a few weeks. Surrounded by vineyards and a breathtaking view of Lake Erie. Arwen Farms is a family owned and operated, fourth generation grape farm, in the heart of New York's, beautiful Chautauqua County Grape Country.
Whether you are looking for summer fun like boating, wine trails, scenic trail riding and fishing or winter activities like skiing, snowmobiling, ice fishing, you'll find it here in Ripley, NY. A trip to Niagara Falls, museums, professional sporting events, shopping, or spending the day at a water park, amusement park, or state park: it's an easy drive from here. Or you can just kick back and relax at the fire pit and enjoy our amazing sunsets over Lake Erie.
Our rental come fully furnished, all you need to bring are your personal items and your food. This is a country location with well water, we have recently add a whole house chlorinating water treatment system.

Deep in Erie Wine Country
For the 3 of us, it was great. We enjoyed the Presque isle hiking trails, kayaking and boat tour spread out over 3 days. Local meadery was a nice find. Campfire Friday and Saturday nights. Place was clean, had everything needed in the kitchen, we did one load of laundry, nice to go back with clean clothes.

Nice getaway
The home and location was very nice, quiet and relaxing. We all enjoyed the beautiful scenery of wine country. Thank you host Wendy for a nice and relaxing place to stay during our visit to Erie. Would recommend to stay here with friends and family.

It was a very old farmhouse. Freshly painted but few electrical outlets, very steap stairs and window air conditioners. Not what I expected.

Quiet Escape
This was a perfect mini vacation for the four of us. My SO and I were just looking for a quiet getaway that our two girls (10 &13) would be able to have fun while we were relaxing. The house is in the middle of a beautiful working vineyard; close to Prescot Isle and Niagara Falls. The hostess was extremely helpful and friendly, actually meeting us when we arrived. It was an amazingly well maintained farm house that had adorable country flair. Defiantly was well worth the trip, and we would love to bring our families back

A little surprised
It seems they operator of this establishment was rather anti-drinking, with warnings about empty alcohol containers found in the garage would lead to additional charges. If they don't want Alcohol (which they have every right) then I think they should state so prior to renting the location. We were there to tour the wine region, so it was rather inconvenient.

The beds were clean and comfortable. It was in a convent and pretty location. The water had a very strong metallic odor to it. So we took showers at my sister’s home. (5 miles)
