"This property is amazing, the house is clean and comfortable and has everything you need to have a great stay. The owner Kimberly is great and makes sure you have everything you need while you’re there. Amazing wildlife visits the property daily (monkeys, parrots, all sorts of birds, etc.). "What an incredible experience it was to stay here!!! Definitely high-end accommodations for a treehouse. Michael was a pleasure to work with, was very accommodating when our flight was delayed and we got there late. We loved being in the trees and so close to so much wild life. I definitely would recommend for someone who loves nature and the outdoors. We all had an overwhelming feeling of sadness the day we had to leave."

"The view overlooking Drake Bay is amazing. The house was clean and well furnished. Air conditioners work great. Lots of foliage between the home and the beach so I got some good bird photos from the yard, even a couple hummingbirds. "Beautiful house steps away from pristine and unoccupied beaches, jungle path that goes on for miles teaming with monkeys and birds. This is remote. No true restaurants nearby, but the tent camp serves a delicious evening meal with a full bar and is about a 10 minute walk. Town is a 60-90 minute hike and has several restaurants and a very small grocery. The owners of this house are delightful, helpful, and provided excellent orientation to living openly in the jungle. "We were in Drake Bay for three nights for a couple of days of diving with our two adult children. The house was perfectly situated, lots of space, and an amazing covered deck area with an afternoon breeze. Everything went very smoothly from first communications through to check-out. Overall we have no hesitation giving this house five stars."

"We had a wonderful time in Carate, and this house was the ideal home base for all of our activities. We saw scarlet macaws and toucans regularly and were fortunate enough to see a tapir pointed out by the very helpful property manager and tour guide, Yeri. The house has simple but impressive amenities for how remote the area is. The drive to get there is an adventure in itself but you could not be closer to the park once you arrive! "This is such a cool place. Great AC and WiFi. The private trails around the property are incredible and back up to a river. Feels very secure. We found kinkajous, squirrel monkeys, coatis, snakes, frogs all around the property. Absolutely must stay here if you like exploring nature on your own, especially at night."

"This house had such amazing wildlife viewing we hardly ever left. that combined with the lovely pool, scenic walks and open air showers. We saw squirrel monkeys, toucans, macaws, capuchins all from our balcony and walks around the house we found kinkajou and tyra along with a host of other species. "Really enjoyed our stay. God’s creation awesomely displayed around us! Would have been fantastic location for a larger group. Wish the other family members had been able to join us. Finding the property the first time was a challenge. You definitely need to take the sharp left at the top of the third hill. Don’t go straight down the third and steepest decline! If heat and humidity and cool showers are not your thing this may not be best choice for you. With the pool it easy to cool down."

"Almost Glamping in a beautiful jungle house surrounded by critters and the sea. Perfect remote relaxation with all the ‘creature’ comforts. Recommend to stock up on food and some supplies before arrival n town; a few nearby small resort restaurants to eat at; one next door for lunch. Highly recommend this property to the adventurers and the recluse!!"

"Beautiful new one bedroom house that is well decorated and stocked with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Hosts were great and very responsive. The birds and butterflies in the garden were and added bonus. No negatives at all about either the house or the location. It was very convenient to groceries, gas and restaurants."

"This rental is run down and in a bad area. There is no hot water and wifi crashed shortly after we got there. There is an air conditioner for the upstairs bedroom but none for the downstairs, which gets hot. The surrounding are not enjoyable."

"The property is wild and wonderful! They are really not joking about the trek to get in there, but that is part of why it's so great once you are there. That road is something, and then parking is a bit from the tree house. We saw all kinds of wildlife and enjoyed both sunny and stormy weather. It had an immersion feel for sure.
