"We really enjoyed our stay in Metzeral. The house was very clean, the rooms perfectly proportioned with two ideal bathrooms and a large living room and dining room which was ideal for 8 of us. Everything was thought off, with wine and cake when we arrived, coffee in the cupboard and beer in the fridge!! There were even bikes in the garage, probably the best house we have ever stayed in.we will recommend to friends and hopefully come back soon."

"Beautiful decor, comfortable beds and everything provided. Charming, quiet neighborhood. Only wish there were towels in the bathroom. We had to find them in the laundry and they were damp. Showe doesn't drain very well."

"We enjoyed a great stay! The village is very close to so many other villages and larger towns in the Alsace. Carmen’s gite is spacious, very comfortable and very well maintained. It is extremely well equipped, there was absolutely everything we needed. We loved knowing our car and bicycles were safe as the fire and parking are behind an electric gated area. You do need a car as there are no amenities within walking distance, Aldi is about 2.5k out of the village. Fabulous for exploring the...

"Although we only stayed two nights, we loved this charming little property. Our hostess visited us to make sure that everything was OK, and provided us with a nice bottle of wine and a home-baked treat that were very much appreciated. It's a short walk into the little village and convenient driving to Colmar and the wine country."

"13-20 July 2013. Very nice house with balcony and view on the pool and the fields. The owners gave us a very warm welcome and we feelt at home. Although the house is built in the garden of the owner and the pool is also for their use, we really had all the privacy we needed. With two boys of 12 and 15 we had a super holiday, also because of the beautiful weather. It's a 75 minutes drive from Europapark in Germany, which we would also recommand to a family with kids."
