"First of all-- the staff were incredible! They personally messaged several days ahead of checking in to confirm our expected arrival time, and offered recommendations for travel to Heidelberg from the Frankfurt Airport that was super helpful. We ended up arriving just as the hotel staff were starting their day, and they promptly led us to our room so we could immediately try to alleviate the jet lag! The rooms are delightful and very spacious. Breakfast in the cozy and historic cellar is charming. And of course so much of old Heidelberg is so close. It's a delightful place to stay!"

Everything, from the spectacular views to the comfortable beds (such a rarity) to the actual AC in the rooms to the glorious bathtub, was a dream. "The shower was a mess; couldn’t keep water in the shower stall no matter what we tried so ended up using lots of towels to mop it up. Listed as having “laundry facilities “, but offers only laundry services for a charge. No laundry area where we could do our own laundry. Very very expensive for us. This was one of the deciding factors to book at the Maritime. Good location for travel in the area!"
