"It smelled like old Christmas decorations. And it was not a subtle place to stay in my opinion. We walked in and decided we couldn’t stay because of the conditions. It is cool but should be a museum not a rental. We asked if there was anything else and were told no. We had to get another place to stay. Would not recommend. "

"Place was very nice and clean , the check in was a bit hassle since they send wrong code for the lock and since the connection is very bad for cell phones we had to drive several miles to get connected to host and get a new code."

"The fam felt comfortable & cozy soon as the wood stove fire slowly warmed up the house. It was great to have a big deck for our two dogs but have caution due to some loose planks. Great stay for us Stay "

"Being that we have lived in Fresno for almost 10 years and this is our first trip to Shaver Lake, we couldn't be more surprised by this magical place! Here we thought all this time that we needed to go to Lake Tahoe to get this experience. Boy, were we wrong. This cabin was immaculate, the host's taste in décor is fabulous and the extras made our trip so much more special. Many thanks to our host for sharing their home with us! We can't wait to come back!"

"This cabin is so close to being amazing. It's a great location for getting into Sequoia National Park and is secluded enough that you can set up some chairs and enjoy some quiet stargazing. The cabin itself was clean and had everything we needed. The only problem was the bathroom was falling apart to the point that we avoided using it altogether. If the bathroom door hinges were fixed and the walls made more permanent this would be a perfect place to stay"
