"Stayed at the cottage over Valentine’s weekend - we are so happy to have found this place!2 adults, 1 tween and a puppers fit perfectly. Plenty of room for us, luggage, ski equiptment etc.Top floor is one bedroom (king). Bed 10/10.They do have a cot and the downstairs couch is a pull-out. You could easily fit an air mattress on the floor in bedroom too. Full bath upstairs with 10/10 shower.Kitchen counter is small and has basic utensils (think efficiency apartment style) but worked just fine...

"My family vacationed here in the summer. We love this house and the overall location. Lots to do with all the VIC trails nearby, canoeing/kayaking, rail trail cycling. Bob and Sheila are great hosts and the house is well equipped. Particularly nice is the outdoor area where you can enjoy an evening fire and view the stars. We all came back happy and restored thanks to this warm home and the natural beauty of the area."

"Moreno's Cottages are a pleasant series of little cabins between Lake Placid and Saranac Lake. My brother and I stayed in #7. There were two twin beds, a nook and a small, separate kitchen area. It was rustic, but modern enough to feel like you had a place to relax after a hike. We did have some problems getting in, but Todd was super accommodating and had backup codes for us to use. "Come to find out, that the Owners had closed their Vrbo account a few years prior. I showed up with the confirmation on Vrbo. The Owners were VERY GRACIOUS and accommodating. They immediately came down and cleaned and refreshed a camp that was not finished for me to stay in.
