"Guest house is lovely, arrival was smooth, car park was quite small and the driveway is very narrow not ideal if you have a large car as makes getting in and out difficult. Our double room was clean and nicely decorated, mattress was ok however the wooden bed frame was very creaky and we could also hear our neighbours bed too. The walls are quite thin and due to it being an older property floor boards creak. We were woken at 1am by guests in the room next door coming home, talking and walking...

"This is a very special place. Lovely accommodation & very spacious - it was the little extra touches that I liked; blankets in the lounge so we cold snuggle up, cafetiere coffee, little bottle of milk in the fridge. The beds were really comfy."

"The property was in a great location that gave the opportunity to walk into the city or take a bus from outside the property. The property is on the is older but in great condition and the facilities were average for such a property. The staff were friendly and happy to share local knowledge along with their thoughts about venues to visit along with places to eat. We would use this property again as we like visiting York and the surrounding area "

"Stayed at the Limes due to working in the area for a few days; great location for getting to the racecourse, parking was ample and the host was fantastic. Very welcoming and friendly, truly made you feel at home and recommended some local eateries for us to try. Would definitely recommend and would 100% stay again."

Very impressed with all of the thoughtful extras included from milk in the fridge a variety of beverages, bath salts etc. Adele was a lovely host, very helpful with local information. Breakfast was delicious. Would definitely recommend and will return if in the area. "

"Comfortable and accessible accommodation with everything you need for great stay. 15 minutes from York and 10 from Selby it is close to amenities but far enough away to be quite. Great hosrs5sho greeted us in arrival and made sure we had everything we needed. Looking forward to returning in the future."

"The room was clean and comfortable. Yea and coffee provided. Plenty of space to get ready. Bed was comfortable. We had been out drinking and was a late night the morning after I asked if we could extend our check out time the request was accepted at no extra cost. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone."

"Rooms are lovely but its in center of doncaster and all you can here is music playing all night till all hours in a morning but other then that very clean and welcoming "

"We have stayed here many times before and since last stay downstairs has been revamped,only thing is looks like small single rooms have been turned into doubles,not enough room to swing a cat,washing in sink had to be done with bathroom door open,we never used shower as it was all too small and hard to manouevre round in,door had number lock on but lights never came on so that was frustrating,this was room 7,sorry but we wont be staying again."
