"A truely delightful stay. The rooms are comfortable & well appointed.Sitting on the terrace in the afternoon looking out over the fields & trees is very relaxing. We were welcomed very warmly & given all the information we required. And the breakfast is extraordinarily! We weren’t able to do justice to it. We were able to easily walk to the park & the closest restaurant is only a few minutes walk away. Indeed a 5 star experience. "

"Highly recommend Vila Sumrak. Beautiful setting, great service and felt totally looked after by Marko and family. Only a 20 min walk to entrance 3 for the lakes, very convenient as we didn’t have the flexibility of a car. Marko advised us how to access a truly beautiful viewpoint which we walked to a number of times, the evening was truly spectacular as it felt that we had the whole park to ourselves. "Perfect place as a base to visit Plitvice area. Run by a wonderful family and very helpful. I know that a number of reviews mention the price of the meal on site...but my comment to that is you pay for what you get. The meal was great and the portions are VERY generous, and are served to you in beautiful garden setting...and you could drink and not have to drive!!!"

"The property is located very close to the national park (though, you still need to get there by car). The staff is very helpful and accomodating. We only stayed for one night and did not get a chance to try the restaurant, although the options seemed good! The hot tub is a little tight for 4 people, but it is still very enjoyable. The scenery is beautiful. We would definitely go back!"

"The mobile homes are modern but it's very small, the hot water runs out very fast, the staff depending on how lucky you get doesn't speak English at all so it's hard to get any tips about the area, but honestly, the most frustrating thing to me was that we paid about a significant price per night equal to a 4 star hotel but what is provided is closer to a 3 star hotel and we were still requested to pay 5 euros for an additional towel to take to the pool.
