"This home has it all! Beautifully decorated, cozy fireplace, spacious private surroundings, the BEST claw foot bathtubs, mountain and star views magnificent! We had 12 people and the home’s size afforded us all plenty of privacy. Great stove in kitchen. Plenty of firewood stacked. Off grid living was cool! No TVs! Such a needed break from the seasonal chaos! Highly recommend ❤️"

"This house was perfect for my family as we traveled for a wedding. My two brothers and our family’s got comfortably in this wonderful home that was very close to the venue. We had easy access to all local spots and it had everything we could ask for. Very responsive hosts and all around amazing people and experience. Would recommend!!!!"

"A few days before arrival, we were sent an email containing instructions for the property. These instructions were addressed to another individual and dated 2021, which seems to be an indication of the last time the property had any attention. Arrival was fairly smooth, following the instruction sheet. The exterior of the house was somewhat worn, with sections of missing gutter, worn paint, and loose entry steps. "The property is in a beautifully secluded area that surrounds you with nature. The house is spacious but cozy at the same time. Vacasa makes the entire process easy. Would definitely stay here again!"

"The long winding driveway through the forest opens to a park-like landscaped vista. Every flower garden, and they are everywhere you look, was in full bloom. Song Sparrow Cottage has a fairytale, idyllic setting. The cottage itself is nothing short of spectacular in its construction and attention to detail. The kitchen was perfectly equipped with everything. One could never tell that this is an "off grid" property. James and Michele were a pleasure to work with. "
