"We had an early morning flight so decided to stay here rather than rushing and worrying in the morning. The hosts Lillian and her husband were such lovely people and extremely helpful. We ate out locally and theres a well stocked supermarket just round the corner. Lilian organised Mr Chino the local celebrity taxi driver to take us to the airport fist thing and everything was well.organised and we didn't want for anything. Big shower / bathroom, kitchen, air conditioning, wifi, even Netflix! I cant express enough how nice these people were and very hospitable."

"A decent place to stay, not fancy but has all the basic necessities. Good air conditioning, secure parking and a nice patio. Easy to find and fairly close to the airport. Was good value for the cost. James was a really nice host. "

"We had a wonderful stay. The bungalow was spotless and decorated super cutely! We spent several hours just floating in the pool with drinks (available for purchase). The hosts were available all the time and took us to/from the airport, saving us $30 each way. They also called a local restaurant and had someone come pick us up to take us to dinner. Could not have been happier! Wonderful place. "

"I had a unique and memorable stay at River Bend. While the property itself is a bit run-down and has the feel of a bargain-basement summer camp, it was surprisingly clean and comfortable inside. The real highlight was the amazing staff, who were incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home. The resident dogs added an extra layer of charm to the place! The bar was open on arrival, the staff was ready to order-in food for dinner, and the breakfast was fresh and ready at 7:00 AM. It may not be a luxury resort, but it’s certainly the coolest airport hotel you could ask for—perfect for those seeking a laid-back, friendly atmosphere. They picked me up from the airport in a boat and took me back promptly the next day! All in all, great value for the price, and I’d happily stay again."
