"House not very welcoming with chairs on table like a closed cafe. Also, bowls and cups had chips and cracks in them and a few not cleaned well. Saying that, host was very responsive and helpful and answered all our questions. Location was great and house was comfortable. You have to pay for parking on all roads but spaces right outside. Lovely area for cycling"

"Wir heben ein verlängertes Wochenende gemacht. Das kleine Chalet war im Hinterhof sehr nah am wunderbaren Sandstrand gelegen. Die Vermieterin war sehr freundlich und es hat auch ohne Französisch zu sprechen alles bestens funktioniert. Das Haus war sauber und alles drin was wir brauchten. Die Unterkunft und der Ort war sehr angenehm ruhig und die Atmosphäre war sehr angenehm mit Kind. Wir empfehlen jedenfalls die Unterkunft weiter! Der Preis ist unschlagbar. "Lovely clean property in good location. Our teenagers however were forced to share a room as the owner had blocked off the upper floor. Prior to staying I declined the cleaning package in writing, however the owner tried to add it to the bill when we were leaving."

"Very good stay in St Valery. The cottage was well situated, just a short walk along the river to everything. The peace was only broken by the train at the end of the garden and a seal having his breakfast outside one morning! The stairs are steep and a touch slippy - my teenage daughter fell once, but this had been flagged up by other reviewers, and no one else had a problem. Something to be aware of, if you have mobility issues. It is a charming house - clearly a lot of thought has gone into...

"It was very spacious, but the whole apartment smelled as if there had been a leakage. The goose pond looked drab and the geese made alot of noise. The chairs at the pool were all broken, thee tennis court was expensive and so were the bicycles. On top of it, we had an accident with the blankets. We had taken the package including sheets etc. We asked for them to be cleaned. We had to pay € 24!"

"Un week-end en famille. 3 générations. Maison de caractère dans un endroit calme. Dommage qu'il n'y ait aucune commodité dans le village. Point négatif de la villa, la baignoire haute pas accessible à tous et il manque une douche. Equipements variés et nombreux"

"Fabulous property in a great location! Pictures don’t do the place justice, really high spec can’t find fault with anything! For dog owners, the garden was mainly enclosed but small gap which a small dog could escape under by the drive - if your dog was so inclined, mine wasn’t!!! If you book this property you won’t be disappointed!"

"Gîte spacieux, propre, calme et très bien équipé. A proximité de la mer et des supermarchés. Le terrain est très appréciable, d'autant plus lorsqu'on a des enfants ou des animaux. Une seconde salle de bain serait effectivement la bienvenue pour éviter les embouteillages :) Les 2 WC séparés sont bien pratiques. Hôte accueillant aussi bien à l'arrivée qu'au départ. Nous avons bien terminé l'année 2023 et bien commencé 2024 dans ce gîte."
