"Agnes the owner is very nice. The surrounding countryside is beautiful, be sure to check out the Church in a field of sunflowers about 4 miles away. Train to Paris is easy and about an hours ride. You will need a car to get around though in general including to the station."

"We stayed for 9 days to relax, visit Paris and boulder in Fontainebleau forest. Gîte du Val D’auneau was the perfect base. Incredibly spacious, private and well appointed, we didn’t want for anything. Excellent pool area kept the kids happy for hours a the lovely covered outdoor dining area was a wonderful place to eat. Andréa and Philippe were the perfect hosts, they answered a questions promptly but allowed our privacy. Very highly recommended "

"We had a nice stay here for two weeks. The covered veranda was good for a dry storage of the pads as well as hanging out during rain. The nearby sport-area is good for the kids. There is a Shop in the village and lots of bouldering areas are easy accessable by bike."

"Déçus par l environnement de la maison, porte d'entrée c cassée, il faut rentrer par une porte sur le côté qu il faut pousser de toutes ses forces. Sinon maison correcte"

"The house is quiet, modern and clean with decent facilities. It is located next to the river with a lovely terrace and garden. The host communicated well."

"Wow! Our group loved Helene’s place. The town is 1 hour train from Paris and you can get a taxi to the house although don’t rely on Uber/bolt. The pool area is wonderful and the grounds of the house have a lot to offer. The bedrooms are large and quite a lot of them have ensuites. The second house is attached to the main house and offers a quieter space for those that want it. The only issue our group found was some struggled to sleep because the house only has windows to cool down at night...

"Lovely house, very comfortable and well equipped for a family for two weeks near to climbing areas. Fireplace with a good supply of firewood very welcome for chilly spring evenings. Very helpful and friendly host, tolerant of my limited french language skills! We would recommend and definitely stay again."

"We travelled with 4 families for a few days and had a fantastic time at the residence. It has lots of space, specially for the kids, and is equipped with everything you might need. We would love to come back soon!"

"Cela est inacceptable et inadmissible d’annuler un séjour le jour même sans motif valable et de ne pas prévenir le locataire avant cela. Si je pourrais je lui mettrais 0 étoile. Et en plus n’a aucune cohérence dans ses réponses à mes messages et ne sait pas s’exprimer !!!"

"Lots of space for the family to explore and relax. The beds are very comfortable. The pool is a wonderful. The gardens are gorgeous! The VRBO app was unreliable but Victoria was accessible by phone. Her Gardner was very helpful and it was nice to have someone on site. The town is quaint with excellent restaurants. Great place for families with children."
